June 2010 Update on the National Alzheimer's Project Act
The National Alzheimer’s Project Act calls for the creation of an Alzheimer’s project office within the Office of the Secretary of Health and Human Services, responsible for creating a national plan to overcome Alzheimer’s and an inter-agency Advisory Council on Alzheimer’s Research and Treatment. The Alzheimer’s Study Group (ASG), recommended the creation of an outcomes-oriented, project focused coordinating office by 2010. The National Alzheimer’s Project Act will create this office and must be enacted this year. For more information, please visit www.alz.org/napa.
